Journease Standard (detail overview)



Journease Standard is designed for owner drivers. It will give you the tools that will enable you to be more productive by easily and quickly producing your weekly invoices. Together with the new Journease Community you will have full access to lookup and post new jobs on the Journease Community Advert Board. Job Booking
Entering jobs is the main activity. Everything else stems from this, such as invoice production, monitor progress etc... Jobs can be as simple or complex as your business dictates.

Some features of job management include:

  • Easy-to-use and quick lookup previous jobs.
  • Have multiple 'collection' and 'delivery' addresses.
  • Copy jobs with a single mouse click.
  • Fully integrated with the map. As you create a job the system shows you all your locations and the route.

Invoicing
Journease can be set up to automatically invoice every job entered into the system, therefore cutting your invoice production time to nearly nothing. However, if you need more control when creating invoices you also have this ability. Features of invoice management include:
  • Printing single invoices. Invoices that pertain to one job only.
  • Printing combined invoices. Invoices that detail more than one job.
  • The system automatically batches an invoice run together.
  • Re-print any single/combined invoice or re-print a whole invoice batch.
  • Change any job price information before the invoices are produced.
  • Export your sales invoices to an accounts package (such as Sage or QuickBooks).
  • Group invoices by Purchase order number.

Integrated Mapping
Microsoft® MapPoint is fully integrated into Journease and most of the standard features of MapPoint are included:
  • European wide mapping.

Journease Professional is designed for small to medium sized courier or transport companies. It will give you a host of facilites that will enable you to be more productive and help your business be more efficient. Together with the new Journease Community you will have full access to lookup and post new jobs on the Journease Community Advert Board. You have all the features and funtionality of features of Journease Standard together with the following: (click on each link to find out further information):

  • Trips - Produce you professional looking invoices at the click of a button.
  • Live Console - Make full use of Microsoft MapPoint.
  • Reporting - Keep on top of your business with a host of management reports.

Quotations
The beauty of Journease is the ease and simplicity of creating Quotations.  Simply enter the bare bones of information required to get a price (Collection and Delivery addresses and vehicle type).  A quotation number is automatically issued to the user and then you have the opportunity to print / e-mail a written version on that quotation.

If your customer accepts the quote, simply turn the quote into a job with one click of your mouse button.
 

The 'Trips' feature gives you the ability to group individual addresses (from jobs) together and order them in your own way and with the click of a button you can display all the delivery and collection points on the map. You can costs against each trip and you can provide your drivers with a 'Trip List'.

Trip screen features include:

  • Allows you to group jobs onto a single trip.
  • Optimise addresses into an efficient delivery order.
  • Allows you to see all your collection and delivery points on a map.
  • Record trip costs for accurate profitability analysis.
  • Easy-to-use and quick look-up of previous trips.

Planning a Trip

Using the Live Console you can monitor all live jobs. When they become late for collection or delivery they are highlighted (this enables you to be pro-active in the way you deal with your customers, let them know there's a problem before they get on the phone giving you verbal abuse!). From this screen you can record GOB (Goods on Board) & POD (Proof of Delivery) information and have it automatically e-mailed to your customer.  

This screen is live and interactive, so should anyone record changes be made to a job/trip then they will be visible to all users, which means that all users of the system see the same information.

Features of the live console include:

  • See jobs categorised by trips.
  • Individual lists for late collections and late deliveries.
  • Multi-User so everyone can see the same information.
  • Record POD's (Proof of Deliveries) information for all delivery addresses.
  • Record GOB (Goods On Board) times and Delivery times for all jobs.
  • E-Mail to your customer GOB and POD information either automatically or manually. 
  • Automatically calculate ETA's (Expected Time of Arrival).
  • Filter the details by active, non-active or delayed jobs.
  • Record comments against each job for everyone to see.

Live Console

Keep a database of your vehicle fleet. Journease can be configured to remind you of import deadline dates such as Road Tax, MOT and Insurance expiry dates and due servicing dates. Together with the ability to perform daily checks and record defects and rectifications Journease makes it easy to keep on top of your assets.
Features of the vehicle management section include:

  • Record MOT, Road Tax an Insurance dates. Also have Journease warn you when these dates are approaching.
  • Record Daily Checks. You can either easily enter the check information into Journease manually or make use of Journease Mobile where your driver can do it from their PDA device.
  • Keep on top of vehicle defects with Defect and Rectification management reports.
